The various styles are wonderful compliments to each other. No matter which style you choose, we believe you will feel the benefits beginning with your very first class, and that the rewards of a regular practice are exponential.
Bikram Yoga (90 minutes)
Consists of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (pranayamas), practiced in a hot room. The traditional 26 + 2 series is suitable for students of all levels. The heat is used to warm your muscles, prevent injury, allow a deeper workout, and cleanse the body by flushing toxins. It is both therapeutic and challenging, created for maintaining excellent health and fitness, reducing stress, losing weight, limiting the effects of aging, preventing illness, and reducing the symptoms of injuries.
Sumits Method (65 minutes)
Sumits Yoga, is an 65 minute set sequence of Vinyasa and Bikram postures, practiced in a hot room with added humidity. It is designed to strengthen the body, calm the mind and re-energize the spirit. This class flows to music through a sequence of balancing and energizing asanas, designed to increase breath awareness and control. Suitable for beginners through advanced, and open to all levels.
Power Vinyasa II (60 minutes)
Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session.
Hot Power Fusion (60 minutes)
The 60 minute hot power fusion class incorporates the traditional, more meditative and restorative, 26 static hot yoga poses with an energizing and challenging flow. Taught in a room heated to 103 degrees with 40% humidity, this class offers all the benefits of held postures while adding a modified vinyasa flow to increase the heart rate and build internal heat.
